WebTV® is not the Internet tacked onto your TV screen--quite the contrary. WebTV is designed to harness the power of the Internet to make watching television more involving, more entertaining, even more inspirational.

Say you're watching TV and you want to know more about the show. WebTV allows you to find the information in moments with a click of the remote. You can watch a baseball game and research statistics at the same time. Or check out the Seinfield site to see whether Jerry is the guy you went to college with--you can even send him an e-mail before the show is over.

Getting WebTV is easy. All you need is a WebTV® Internet Terminal or a WebTV® Plus Receiver (available this fall) and a monthly subscription to WebTV Network™ Service. WebTV Networks, Inc., currently offers two levels of service: The WebTV Network (which requires the WebTV Internet Terminal) and the WebTV® Plus Network (which requires the WebTV Plus Receiver). While WebTV clearly enhances your television with Internet access, WebTV Plus gives you more choice and control over what you watch, with features such as WebPIP, Web Home and TV Crossover™ Links.
