I was born and raised in the Windsor / LaSalle area in Ontario, Canada some 46 years ago. I graduated from St. Clair College (Electrical / Electronic Technolgy, 1970) and then from the University of Windsor (Electrical Engineering / Computer Science, 1973). Just before graduation, in May, 1972, I married Gayle Rashid (childhood sweethearts) and today we have two lovely children, Annie (17) and Stephen (12). After graduation from the UofW, I joined Toledo Scale - Relience Electric as an Electrical Design Engineer. After 4 years there, I left and joined Diffracto Limited, some 19 years ago, as a Design Engineer of Optical - Non-Contact gaging systems.
Today, some of my hobbies and other activities include Scouting (I'm a brand new Scout Leader) and Ultralight aeroplane flying ( currently a student pilot, and I am building a KOLB Mark III plane).
