tribute to NY Fire Dept.

In my quest to find a symbol for EMS workers came across the flag for NY Fire Dept. I would like to give accolades to every station house who provided emergency support services for your unified efforts. Through your persistence and brotherhood and sisterhood you brought faith and hope back to the Nation. This major tragic event showed the world the humanistic side of your profession and validated the major impact you make in each of your communties everyday. It makes people realize the valuable job that you perform daily.

We salute the ordinary heros who united New York with their extraordinary courage and those who lost their lives in the call of duty who selflessly put a stranger's safety before their own.

Lest we not forget the many loved ones lives lost who in the dark moment of adversity and with certain impending death reached inside themselves and found courage. Through their inner strength were compelled to perform heroic acts to save the lives of others. These ordinary heros will have a place forever etched in our hearts for their selfless deeds. God bless their loved ones who remain behind. May they find comfort in knowing that their loved ones legacy lives on.
