Sweet 'n' Hot Sauces







Jim Tracey and I started making these sauces in January of 1998. They are a unique combination of peppers, fruits, and spices that enhance and complement the flavour of any food. The original sauces, the sweet variety, and the hot, are mustard-based. In November of 1998, we introduced a ketchup-based BBQ sauce, Ol' Shack Sloppin Sauce.
The sweet version has a tangy freshness that enhances the flavour of your favourite foods without being overpowering. The hot version is, well, hot! Use with caution, and don't let the initial sweetness fool you. This is no nonsense, down and dirty hot sauce! Use with caution! The same might be said of our BBQ sauce. These sauces will make you sit up and pay attention!
