RESOURCE MATERIALS:

1. Worksheet: Using Word Families- Activities
2. pencil, paper, and drawing materials for pictures

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Using the word families made of rhyming words help students read the words.
2. Help the students to add words to the families.
3. Use the words from above to fill in the blanks.
4. Have the students draw some pictures using the rhyming words.

COMPLETION TIME:

• Approximately one to two 30-40 minute periods.
